A Little Something About The Wild One
My cyber friends know me as
Wild Heaven but to my real life friends I am Krystil. I was born and
raised in California. But in June '99 I moved to North Carolina to be with my one true love, and to call NC home.
Soon after arriving in North Carolina, I got a full time job working retail. Unfortunately, I lost the job in Jan 2000 due to illness. Right now I am currently unemployeed.
I am an animal lover. At one point I had 1 dog, 2 cats, 2 fish, and 2
hamsters. But the cats and dogs have outlived the fish and hamsters.
I was thinking of majoring in Veterinarian Assistant but then I
realized I needed too much math and science and gave up that idea. hehe
Tony and I recently became new parents..... to a 7 week old kitten!! Sheesh, what were you thinking?
He was found under the hood of a car. Tony knew I wanted a cat and brought him home. He is a
little terror. He gets into anything and everything. This is how he got his name, Trouble. Unfortunately, he lived up to his name too much. Tony and I had to get rid of the little guy. He was just too much for either one of us to handle.
It took a lot of convincing, but I finally got Tony to agree to get another cat. I was home all alone with no one to spend time with. We went down to the shelter and adopted a 2 year old male kitty.
The people at the shelter named him Oliver. But I didn't like that name. So he now goes by Oscar. He is an absolute wonderful cat! He's quite the talker and very much enjoys a good scratch. He will
definately let you know that he doesn't like to be ignored!
I love writing short stories and poetry. Short stories have always
been my favorite but just recently starting writing poetry and can't
seem to stop. I have had some of my stories published in local
newpapers but someday I would like to do more with them. Maybe even
write a book.
I have also starting collecting shot glasses. I collect them from
places I have been to. I now have too many to count! Tony built me a beautiful shot glass case to put them in. Well, I filled it completely when I moved to NC. And now I have a bunch of shot glasses that need
a home.
Traveling is something I enjoy. I love to see new places. Two
summers ago I had a wonderful opportunity to spend six weeks in
Europe. I spent four and a half weeks in Spain (Malaga and
Algercias), two days in Morocco, and almost a week in England. And
just traveling in the States, I have been to ten different States (if
you include California).
In June Tony flew out to California to help me move. We crammed as much as we could
into my little car and headed East. Our drive took us through California, Nevada,
Utah, Wyoming, Coloroado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee,
and last stop North Carolina. There were many parts of the trip that was beautiful and breathtaking.
Course there were also parts that I could have slept through and it wouldn't have made a difference.
